On the edge of the Royal forest of Dean in a friendly village with two great pubs and the Forest of Dean steam railway, many walks and cycle trails, near the Severn and Wye rivers. Nearest town Lydney with local commerce and services. Near to many peaceful walks and cycle trails the Royal forest of dean is perfect for a relaxing break or you might like to visit the many local attractions like "go ape" Symonds Yat rock, the Wye river valley for canoeing or rock climbing from my property you can see the Dean steam railway on its way to Parkend or Lydney. The village has two pubs serving good food real ales and ciders Guests can use the kitchen facilities, downstairs toilet, the indoor hot tub/spa. Whitecroft is a quiet village near to the town of Lydney which has all usual amenities, lots of good restaurants and takeaways, the towns of Cinderford Coleford and Monmouth are nearby. Lydney is served by a bus station and train train station there is a local bus service and numerous cycle trails.
