Let us do it for you! The listing is for 1 tent! For larger groups, we can put up a second one on request! Message us! 1 hr Toulouse, 12km from Aurignac & 800m du GR86! Disconnect, put your feet up & enjoy the sound of silence. Peace, tranquility + stunning views over the Pyrenees from the pool! We believe our concept is simply perfect, however please take the time to read through our description fully to ensure that it is perfect for you too :-) A beautiful, special and tranquil experience for anyone wanting to get off the fast frenetic wheel of life....and completely back to nature. Here, with a view over the Pyrénéen mountains, you will find our gorgeous, furnished bell tent. The tent, perched on a wooden terrace, has stunning views and is fitted out for one double & two single beds. Four single beds can also be set up. Upon request, we have two fishermans beds that can be used - note this is at a squeeze - do consult us though! Please also note that as we are completely off grid (wi-fi is not readily available, as we want to help you ‘detox’, but can be arranged in emergencies!!!) You can relax in your tent without electricity (but with solar lights!), have access to a 'loo with a view' (our dry compost toilet) and be spoilt with a solar shower cabin! We are surrounded by farmland, home to horses, sheep and cows. We kindly ask you to be respectful and thoughtful towards them, thank you! As previously mentioned, we live and work in harmony with our environment and as much off grid as possible! Please do not expect an impersonal and sterile hotel room, but rather a calm and relaxing space that is as close as you can get to actually sleeping out in the open amongst the beautiful scenery and nature that surrounds us in this unique location. The dry compost toilet is close to the tent and in keeping with our ethos of looking after our wonderful (but fragile) planet, is an eco friendly toilet (rest assured that it is both civilised and very clean :-)) *We regret that because of the access and our location, our tent is not really suitable for people with mobility problems* Please leave our tent as you found it upon arrival - everybody's happy then! Open from June to September 2022 (exact dates to be confirmed). Guests can access the swimming pool (in season), pool bar (with Fridge/Freezer and 'honesty bar') and stroll in our 3 hectares of land! Since February 2021, we have an exterior infra red sauna suitable for 3-4 persons, available at additional cost. Why not arrange a visit to the black Gascon pigs or say hi to the chickens!!! Just ask.... We can provide a healthy breakfast at an additional cost (€7 per person - under 6 free) and/or a 2 course evening meal on request (€25 per person, €15 for children under 12, apéro and half bottle of wine included, taken with us on our garden terrace! All is homemade, organic/bio... :-) The neighbourhood is very, very calm! It is an agricultural area with many small farms. Aurignac is close by (12km) where the first prehistoric man was discovered (Aurignacien). Aurignac has a healthy Saturday market and is also home to Aurignac Ale, an artisanal micro brewery establishes by a resident Australian and Englishman! For the cyclist enthusiasts among you, the tour de France often passes close by. We are also on the GR 86 cycle tour route (800m) Toulouse-Aurignac-Luchon. We are happy to help you with finding areas for walking, biking, eating and drinking - but you probably won't want to leave!! 90 mins from Lourdes/Tarbes/Pau. We are just over an 75 mins from the nearest ski resort Peyragudes, near Luchon. Transport is a must if you want to get out and about - we have 3 bicycles (1 adult, 2 child) for rent. There is no real bus service and the nearest rail station is at Boussens (about 20km). We can sometimes provide an airport (Toulouse, Blagnac) transfer - €45 each way. Airport is more or less 1 hour away, SW of Toulouse. Ask for availability.
