Quirky Space for 4-5 people, Parking/Garden area.

This is a quirky three floor space. Ground floor is a utility room with spiral staircase leading to first floor. First floor has 2 x person sofa bed, shower room, toilet and sink. From here a paddle staircase leads to mezzanine floor with sleeping space in roof area for up to three people. As the mezzanine stairs are steep this space is not suitable for young children and not for the inactive. We have parking for up to 2 vehicles and secure storage for bikes/canoes etc. Our aim is to provide affordable accommodation for small groups and families. Bedding is provided for the upstairs sofa bed and mezzanine beds. We like to be available to guests to help them to make their stay a pleasant experience. We can provide information by text, e-Mail, telephone conversation and in person if we are around. We will respect privacy. Llangollen is a busy tourist town situated on the River Dee, on the edge of the Berwyn range and the Dee Valley Way AONB. There are a range of bars, shops, cafes and restaurants to visit, the majority of which are dog friendly. There are multiple outdoor activities including rock climbing , kayaking , paddle boarding and mountain biking. The Vale of Llangollen Golf Club is just a few minutes walk away. UNESCO world heritage sights to visit are Horseshoe Falls, Dinas Bran Castle (overlooking the town) and Pontcysllte Aqueduct. You can reach Snowdonia in approximately one hour (traffic depending) and beaches within an hour and a half. The property is located on the main road (A5) and is approximately a 10minute walk (just over half a kilometer) to the town with bars, restaurants, shops and cafes available. The nearest train stations are Chirk (approx 15mins drive) or Ruabon (approx 20mins drive). Please BOOK IN ADVANCE for activities/ eating out etc in peak times as places are often fully booked. Please request if you would like to book and you have children under the age of 7. We have travel cot, highchair and safety gate at the top of the spiral staircase, however we cannot childproof the mezzanine staircase at present.
