Serenity by the Lake "A Hidden Gem"

Self-contained apartment with its own private entrance. This cozy waterfront apartment is located on the ground level of a 2 level house in a unique setting with exquisite garden views onto the lake and nature reserve. An ideal place to just unwind and relax. It has 1 bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, two lounge rooms, kitchen, bathroom and an outside area. Just a few minutes away from the most pristine beaches. Brunswick heads is just down the road and Byron Bay is a 20 minutes drive. This apartment is located in a unique and peaceful setting with tranquil water and garden views. The space is ideal for a couples retreat who are looking for a relaxed break or weekend away. Our home is in a residential area and borders onto the Marshall Creek river sanctuary. You have direct access to our beautiful garden which will give you a feeling of privacy, spaciousness and serenity in nature. We love our home and enjoy watching the jumping fish in the lake. Please note that fishing is not allowed as it is a protected zoning. The private kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, espresso machine, toaster, kettle, induction cooker and refrigerator. It has everything you need to cook with. There are two separate lounge areas, the main lounge room has a cozy and spacious couch, perfect to watch the sun come up over the water in the morning. In the corner next to the kitchen there is a small dining table with chairs. The second lounge area has two comfortable chairs and a reading lamp. It has a hanging wardrobe with a shelf and a large mirror on the wall. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, a chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps on each side. The mattress is a comfortable thick latex mattress with a separate memory foam topper. we use only high quality 100% cotton bed sheets. The apartment has a private spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. Sliding doors give entrance to the garden with an electric grill and several outside seating and dining areas. There is a private off road parking area at the front of the house for our guests. There is enough space for a large car or camper. Breakfast basics like oats, fruits and milk for the first day are provided, along with a choice of Tea's and Coffee. There is no tv but there is an unlimited wireless internet connection suitable to watch movies on your computer. The apartment is located on the ground floor as a fully self contained area. Entry is accessed at the side of the house which leads to the back of the property and your own private entrance. The garden is a shared space, and you are welcome to enjoy it. There is a large off street parking area at the front of the house. We are available to answer any questions you may have, but will give you all the space and privacy to enjoy your holiday in peace. You have direct access to our beautiful garden which will give you a feeling of expansion and privacy in nature. We will only be there sometimes for maintenance. We live upstairs on the first floor. Ocean Shores is next-door to the most pristine beaches and rivers of this area. Iddilic Brunswick Heads is just a few minutes drive away and has everything you need for a great holiday experience. It is a great place for swimming, fishing, surfing, canoeing, a stroll on the beach or just doing nothing and enjoying a good meal or coffee in one of the many fabulous restaurants or cafes. Ocean shores itself is close to the beach. Its a few minutes by car to get to the most pristine beaches of South Golden, New Brighton and Brunswick Heads near us. There is a shopping centre with a great Sushi place, a Pizza take away shop, Coffee shops, Pub, Coles supermarket, Target, bulk food and health food shop, hairdresser, a bottle shop, post office, pharmacy and local medical centre, all within a few minutes drive from our house. There are also a few restaurants/ coffee shops spread around in Ocean Shores and we have a large golf course nearby with a restaurant. Byron Bay needs no introduction, it is one of the most visited holiday destinations in Australia. It has marvellous beaches and the infamous lighthouse walk is one of the most stunning and panoramic walks in the area. It will take you by car about 20-25 minutes to the CBD with normal traffic. It is mostly paid parking in Byron Bay. From our home you can get to the Byron Bay Blues festival site in under 10 minutes by car, To the Splendour festival site it is about 5 minutes by car with normal traffic. There is also a bus service running during the festivals, the bus stop is close by, so you can leave your car at home. The cute little township of Brunswick Heads is only a few minutes drive by car, is a more laid back favourite and popular holiday destination. It is much loved by the locals, because of its great beaches, river, cafes, outdoor pub with live music and restaurants. It is bustling, but never gets too crowded. Our local towns of Ocean Shores, South Golden Beach, Brunswick Heads and Mullumbimby have free parking. The Gold Coast airport is only a 30 minute drive away. Getting to the start of the Gold Coast will take you about 25 minutes. There are regular Farmers and Craft markets on in the area. We have neighbours and we live on the first floor. Therefore we do not allow parties or gatherings in the interest of harmony and peace for our neighbours. Please no music or loud phone calls outside. Quiet time between 10 pm and 7am. Smoking is not allowed inside the house or in the garden area. The apartment gets thoroughly cleaned in between guests. Due to Covid 19 we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
