Cottage 30 seconds to Beach with Garden & Parking

Our fisherman's cottage built in 1668 comes with cliff top garden overlooking the beach which is only a 30 second walk away! It has three bedrooms, 2 with double beds and the other with a 4 foot bunk on the bottom and a single on the top. BUNK ROOM SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN ONLY. A maximum of 4 adults, 6 people if the bunk room is occupied by 2 children only. Parking Permit provided for 1 car to use either of the two car parks. Further permits available from the post office. 1 well behaved dog. This beautiful cottage is one of a kind. It was built in 1668 and so is now 350 years old! It stands as the first row of houses back from the cliff at Robin Hood's Bay and is one of the closest properties to the beach. On the top of the cliff is our new cliff top garden. It is one of only two gardens in the entire village which directly overlook the beach. In addition, there is also a smaller patio garden area ideal for BBQs. Most of the fisherman's cottages in Robin Hood's Bay are over three of four floors with only a room on each whereas Primrose is built so that the sitting room and kitchen and downstairs and the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs (on the first floor), as most people would find at home, this makes it far more practical. There are all the things you would expect to find in a home, such as wifi, bluetooth speaker, stereo/dvd, smart tv with free netflix etc etc. There is a gas fired log burner in the sitting room for cosy nights in and plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. We provide high end freshly laundered white bedlinen and fluffy white towels. There are magazines as well as flyers for local restaurants and other attractions. The space is very well furnished and should provide a very relaxing and clean home from home. Please read House Rules before booking. I am hands on and am available via telephone or the Airbnb app (however generally wont be available in person). However our neighbours are very knowledgeable if we are not around. I also use a letting agent - locally based nearby in Whitby (3 miles away) and they should also be able to assist. Robin Hood's Bay is a beautiful ancient fishing village dating back to medieval times. Located within the North York Moors National Park, the vast majoirty of houses are listed and the village has been protected from modern development thus preserving it's natural history. It has a beautiful long golden sandy beach and when the tide is out there are many large rocks pools left which create the perfect environment for crabbing! It is a great place to sun bath, walk your dogs, fly your kite and even play a game of beach cricket! There are a handful of shops as well as restaurants and pubs in the Bay. Please read House Rules before booking. Thank you. We provide a parking permit for Primrose Cottage. The permit is valid for either of the public car parks within the village (both council owned). Additional permits can be purchased in either of the council car parks (currently £6 per day). There are various bus stops in the village with routes to the moors, Whitby and beyond.
