The "Old Bays Cottage" is a secret gem. It's 25m to the water's edge. Explore beautiful Woy Woy Bay in our Kayaks or cool off and have a swim. If fishing is your passion you are a short stroll to the public jetty where blue swimmers are a local favourite. There are lots of bushwalking trails around too. The cottage is an old abode that’s been transformed into a character filled oasis. It's the cutest spot for a romantic or family getaway. 55 mins from Sydney, it’s the perfect base. Water only 25 mtrs from your door step. Whilst you can’t see the water from our little cottage, a 30 sec stroll will take you to a lovely bench where you can relax in front of the water with a good book. We supply the following water equipment. 1 x Double family Kayak. Maximum weight 200kg. It comfortably fits two adults or two adults and 1 x child (less than 30kg) 1 x Single adult kayak. 2 x junior single kayaks. Maximum weight is 45kgs Two minutes up the road in ‘Bassan’ St is Woy Woy Bay’s public jetty where you will often find residents fishing or jumping off the jetty for a swim. You can hire a boat from the local marina “Andersons Boatshed Ettalong”, and they will drop it off to the public jetty for you - no boat licence required. Note: There is no public boat ramp in Woy Woy Bay. 5 min. walk to the end of Taylor street is the local ‘Woy Woy Bay’ park which is perfect for a picnic on the water’s edge. Now in the property we have an outside hammock for relaxing with your favourite book. Our property is fully fenced for little people and little fury friends. We have a fully equipped kitchen with utensils and appliances. All linen, bedding & towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided. 1 large Master bedroom with Queen Bed and built in robe 1 room with a Queen Bed and built in robe 1 room with a double bed King single sofa bed in lounge room - Large bathroom including laundry facilities. Located between Umina Beach and Ettalong Beach within the protection of Broken Bay you will find over two kilometres of golden sand to relax on and enjoy. Ocean Beach provides the beauty of an ocean beach with the safety of an inland waterway, offering a perfect location for families. Picnic tables with seating are available, along with barbecue's and a children's playground. The beach is patrolled every day from October long weekend until the end of the April school holiday break. Public facilities are available as well as lovely grassed and under cover picnic areas. There are hot breakfast's served the last Sunday of every month in the hall. The menu caters to all types of tastes and includes gluten free options. It's a great way to meet the locals and learn more about the Bay. The hall is a 5 min walk from 'The Old Bay's Cottage'. You will need a car if you come to Woy Woy Bay. It's a quiet waterside town 10 mins drive from the the main town centre of Woy Woy. There is free parking at the property & space in the lane for a couple of cars if you have a group.
