Small brand new kitchen fully stocked with microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee plunger, gas cooktop, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for 4 people. Shared laundry and washing line: access is through side gate at left hand side of the building. Whole apartment available to guests with shared laundry and washing line - access to laundry is through a side gate at left of front doors, down the side of the apartment block, past the bins. David and Merran both work at Ensemble Theatre, just 70 metres away from the apartment in McDougall St. We can offer help with suggestions for local restaurants, bars, cafes, theatre, entertainment, parks, walks. There are local maps and restaurant/cafe/takeaway/home delivery menus in the house manual. Kirribilli is an upmarket suburb right over the water under Sydney's famous Harbour Bridge. Milsons Point shops are a short walk up Willoughby Street with everything you need in restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets. You can walk across the bridge to Circular Quay, the Rocks and the Sydney Opera House. Luna Park is a fun theme park within walking distance of the apartment. Just 50 metres away is Ensemble Theatre, Australia's longest running theatre company. A five minute walk from Milsons Point station. A 10 minute walk to North Sydney (High St) Ferry Wharf. Street parking available with 2 hr, 4hr and 8 hr limits from 8am to 10pm. NB: Parking rangers regularly patrol the area. Walking distance parking stations in North Sydney. If you really need a car space, I recommend the PARKHOUND APP. Milsons Point train station is a 5 minute walk up Willoughby Street. This is only one stop across the Harbour Bridge to Wynyard in the heart of Sydney's CBD. High St Ferry Wharf in North Sydney is a 10 minute walk. (Maps in the house manual for your convenience). Milsons Point shops are a hub of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops including everything you could need - post office, pharmacy, supermarket, fruit market etc. Larger shopping centre (Coles) close by in North Sydney. Other residents live in the building permanently so please be aware to not make too much noise. If you need a car-space, I recommend the PARKHOUND APP.
