The hosts live next door and available to help with any local information needed. Good central village location in Great Urswick, one minute walk to the General Burgoyne pub and restaurant. Located between Ulverston and Barrow in the South Lakes, 10 mins drive to Ulverston and 20 to Barrow. Lovely walks available in the immediate area, short drive and you are in the beautiful Lake District. Off road parking is available. There is no public bus service but taxis are easy to get. The good old village pup is only next door for food with no need to drive.
