Simple and cozy double room in Mountainhostel Gimmelwald. Shower and bathroom are shared. In the hostel there is a bar and a restaurant where we serve fondue, raclette and our popular homemade stone oven pizza. An exceptional hostel in a unique location. Gimmelwald is car-free. However, the hostel is very easy to reach with a 4-minute gondola ride. The car can be parked in Stechelberg at the valley station of the Schilthorn cable cars. We are mostly on site, because the hostel also has a restaurant which currently also offers take-away for external guests. The car-free mountain village of Gimmelwald is a hidden insider tip, located at 1300m.a.s.l. in the world-famous Jungfrau region and easily accessible by a 4-minute gondola ride. Come up, relax and forget the world. The house is located in the Alps, surrounded by nature and mountains, and is easily accessible by gondola (Schilthornbahn). To the valley station of the cable car you can easily get by car or public transport. An additional fee of CHF 3.10 tourist tax per day / person has to paid at check-out.
