La Maison de Ville

La Maison de Ville is located in the peaceful town of L'isle en Dodon, 50 minutes southwest from Toulouse Blagnac airport. We have a large, south facing garden with a heated swimming pool and covered hot tub. Comfortable outdoor furniture and an undercover BBQ provide a perfect opportunity for al fresco dining. If you have chosen to hire a car for your stay, there is ample parking directly outside the property or across the road. The bedrooms will be ready made up for your stay. Tea, coffee and a few other basics are provided to keep you going before you visit the supermarket (reusable shopping bags are available for your use in the gite). For your convenience we provide - Free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, pool and bath towels, iPod dock, flat screen TV with Free Sat , DVD player, coffee machine (filter), microwave, washing machine, free standing fans, two (non integrated) A/C units, dishwasher, pool towels, high chair, travel cot, BBQ. Located in the garden you will find table tennis, basketball, football net, archery, badminton, dartboard and croquet. During your stay please feel free to contact us whatever day or time and I will try to sort any issues or answer any questions as soon as I can. Whether this be over the phone or if I need to send someone to the house to help you. A pharmacy, butchers, bakery, post office, tabac and tourist information centre are all within a 5 minute walk away. The bank / ATM is conveniently located directly opposite the property. A small convenience store is located a few doors down from the property for essentials. For larger shopping trips, an Intermarche supermarket is under a 5 minute drive away. If you're feeling up to it, this makes a pleasant 15 minute walk. There are 2 petrol stations nearby; one of which is within the Intermarche car park. If you fancy a break from cooking, Pizzeria L'Escale directly opposite offers a variety of food including pizzas, burgers, salads and steak. Also in walking distance is Le Toscan which serves lunch throughout the week and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Lou's pizza close to Le Toscan provides a takeaway pizza service. *Please note that most shops close at midday for 2 hours and are also closed on Sundays* We recommend hiring a car from Toulouse Blagnac airport for your stay. However, if you would prefer not to drive, you can hire a taxi from the airport. Once you are at the house you will be in walking distance of the local supermarket, restaurants and also the market which is every Saturday morning. If you decide to hire a car for your journey, there are plenty of places you can visit if you fancy a change of scenery - Three golf courses, adventure park, skiing, spa, safari zoo, space park, bowling, Samatan market (Mondays), Blagnac mall, farm, maze. Places of interest - Toulouse, Arreau, Saint Bertrand de Comminges, Carcassonne, St Lary Soulan ski slopes. The Mediterranean coast is 2.5 hours away and The Atlantic is 3 hours away More information on these various activities and areas can be emailed to you on request.
