Charming country cottage

We are 10 minutes drive south from the A14 and 25 minutes drive from the M1 at junction 15. Our charming country cottage is situated next door to our house set in a lovely garden. The Cottage is within 5 minutes walk of our three village pubs, an Indian restaurant, a Chinese take away, a fish and chip shop and a parade of local shops! The village boasts a Saxon church and is close to beautiful gardens and large country houses. Perfect for a countryside escape or a rest after a long day’s work. This self contained cottage is set right next door to our house within a lovely English country garden. You may park your car securely in the shared driveway right in front of the cottage. Our house is right next door. Pretty views out of all the cottage windows. Please feel free to wander around the garden and enjoy a peaceful seat on your terrace in front of the sitting room french doors, this terrace overlooks our garden. A perfect place to use as a base for day’s out or for recharging after a long day at work. There is a a lap-top ready work space for business guests. We give our guests as much privacy as is possible but do have to get the gardening done! Your own kitchen fully equipped with 4 ring hob, oven, microwave, ironing board and iron. Shower room, wc and hand basin, shaver plug with dual sockets for British and European power, hairdryer. King size bed. Separate sitting room with flat screen TV, sofa and arm chair, dining table with two chairs. We can add a folding table as a desk space if required. Welcomed on arrival and will be on hand throughout your stay if you need us. Tea, coffee (Nespresso machine), cereals, eggs, milk, toasting bread, butter and marmalade provided as a welcome pack. Northamptonshire has many fine houses and gardens to visit. The countryside is lovely. Our village has one of the oldest and finest Saxon churches in the country, being first consecrated in 680AD. Our local town of Market Harborough is a charming market town with lovely shopping. We are half an hours drive from Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit. We are just south of the A14, 20 minutes from the A14/M1/M6 junction. It is very easy to go north, south, east or west from this location! We are 7 miles from Northampton station with fast trains to London, Euston in 60mins. Also 10 miles from Market Harborough which has trains to London St. Pancras. We are equidistant from Oxford and Cambridge, both are an hours drive away. There is a Espresso coffee machine in the kitchen so please bring your favourite capsules with you!
