A 5 star lodge ideal for exploring the Cotswolds

Summer Lake is a glorious and peaceful setting yet close to many amenities, restaurants and pubs.A fantastic place from which to explore the delights of the Cotswolds. The lodge is a ten minute drive to Cirencester (described as the capital of the Cotswolds) or a 5 minute walk to the adjoining De Vere Hotel The lodge was completed in November 2020 and is furnished to a very high standard with full WiFi and TVs in every bedroom plus lounge and kitchen area. The only restricted space is the study which will be locked, plus the boiler room! The ground floor is mostly open plan leading onto decking with glorious views over Summer Lake, there are steps leading down to the pontoon where you can dip your toes into the water! Literally a 2 minute walk will get you to Lake 12 where you can hire kayaks, canoes etc by the hour. Within Summer Lake you can enjoy a free tennis court If shopping is your thing then Swindon and the outlet centre is approximately 20 minute drive, Cheltenham approximately 40 minutes. There are some glorious walks from Summer Lake, details will be found at the lodge, some fantastic pubs along these routes too! I will aim to greet you on arrival and introduce you to all the technology in the lodge! I will share my mobile number with you and be available to assist during your stay Summer Lake contains approximately 60 dwellings all built around the lake. There is a mix of permanent dwellings along with a small number of holiday lets. I ask that you kindly respect our neighbours who live permanently at the lake. There is a bridge which allows access to the De Vere Hotel. The code for the security system to cross the bridge will be supplied on arrival
