Newly renovated studio with queen bed and ensuite suitable for 2 guests. There is a small lounge area and a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and jug. The studio is about 70 metres from the safe swimming beach of Pohara. There is a pathway across the road which takes you to the beach. Cafes, bar and a shop are all within easy walking distance. The township of Takaka is approx. 8 mins by car. A comfortable base from which to explore all the attractions of Golden Bay. The studio is attached to our home down the driveway. It has a separate entrance and will be your own private area whilst you are our guests. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, basin, toilet and a washing machine. The kitchenette has crockery, cutlery a fridge, a microwave, toaster and jug but no stove. The only cooking facility is the microwave. A Bar-b-que is available on request. Milk, coffee, tea and sugar will be available on your arrival but we no longer cater for breakfasts. The lounge area has a couch, and a TV. Wi Fi is on site at no extra charge. The studio will not be serviced during your stay but fresh towels are available on request. Access to the studio is off the driveway so parking is available at the door. We live on the premises so are always available if you need anything . Pohara is a holiday destination with a very safe beach which is only 70 metres across the road. The boating club with a launching ramp is 5 mins drive and we have parking available for a small boat. There is a cafe for breakfast/brunch and two other bar/restaurants all within walking distance. The local shop provides all the essentials and take-away meals . Liger Bay, Tata Beach, the Abel Tasman National Park and the many other attractions of Golden Bay are all within easy reach. We have only been in Golden Bay for 4 years but love it, we are sure you will too. There is no public transport in Pohara. A daily bus service operated by Golden Bay Coachlines runs from Nelson to Pohara. This is a no smoking property.
