This charming fully self-contained lodge house has a beautiful and stylish interior where you can enjoy all the comforts of your own home. The property is fully equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing getaway and is perfect for short or longer stays. Our tranquil retreat is ideal for most occasions whether it be a romantic getaway, business trip, travelling with friends and family or a peaceful sole escape. This modern accommodation comprises of: Large open plan kitchen-diner which features a fold out double bed or corner suite Lounge area featuring a 52” Samsung TV with all Sky channels, coffee table, book shelf with a variety of books and games to read/play at your leisure (Chess, Cluedo, Monopoly, Rummikub, and playing cards). Dining table with four chairs, Highchair Fully functional kitchen with oven, microwave and full set of crockery. Shower room with vanity unit & WC. (towels and toilet rolls provided) Bedroom containing super king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside units Driveway with free parking for several cars Pet friendly Free WiFi Please note that the accommodation is strictly non-smoking. We also ask that you do not light candles. Fake candles are provided in the bedroom drawer Guests can share private entrance with private parking Shared Private Gated Entrance. We are happy to accommodate most requirements including laundry service, cleaning, cooking, chauffeuring, dog walking. However please bear in mind that there will be additional costs added to your bill for any extras. We are within walking distance to the historic village of Welwyn, where you can enjoy award winning restaurants, beautiful boutiques, tea rooms, coffee shops, gift shops, a great curry house, lots of fantastic pubs with live music, village library, St. Marys Church and many more lovely things to do and see. We are also within walking distance to the local pub ‘The Red Lion’ where you can also dine. Ayot Green is a stone’s throw away where you will find one of our favourite choice of eateries ‘The Waggoners’, this is a rustic pub with real-fire place, serving European bar food or inventive French cooking in the restaurant. Also, nearby and walking distance (albeit through Sherrardspark woods) is the town centre of Welwyn Garden City. This town has a large variety of shops, supermarkets, fantastic restaurants and pubs. It also has its own quant little cinema/theatre house which includes a child’s soft play area and roller-skating. The National Rail train station is located directly in the centre which takes you direct to Kings Cross in only 20 minutes or Cambridge in under an hour. Also nearby is: Sherrardspark woods which is great for dog walkers and ramblers. Stanborough Lakes is a beautiful countryside park, with 2 lakes Gosling Sports Park where you will most certainly find any activity to suit your needs. 10 minute drive to either Knebworth House or Hatfield House The A1 motorway is less than 2 minutes away.
