Short stroll to: • Beach, • Life saving club, • Yacht club, • Parks, Playgrounds, Picnic & BBQ facilities, • Boat ramp, • Marina village (Shops, Bars & Restaurants) to avoid booking cancellation, entry refusal, losing your deposit or discounts: ********************************************** READ BELOW NOTES, BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING ********************************************** • Kindly take note of the following, as the guesthouse may not be suited for your needs: • Our guesthouse carport is currently unavailable for use due to 2 new labradors onsite. • The gated resort only has street parking available for a single vehicle. • There’s no space available for a trailer, boat, caravan, truck or 2nd vehicle. • There are no ocean views from the guesthouse but the beach is only 50 meters away. • Some external areas eg driveway are shared with us/the owners living in the mainhouse. • The 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (which transforms to 2 single beds). • Max 4 people sleeping in the guesthouse/on the premises & visitors to depart by 22:00. • No parties, events, illicit substances or soliciting and kindly limit noise. • No smoking (but if so) please do so outside & don’t discards buds in the garden. • Labrador dogs Luna (white) & Lila (black) on site, no other pets allowed. • The dogs (when let outside) love lying in front of the guesthouse door and will shed hair. • Outdoor CCTV is in use. ********************************************** GUESTHOUSE RULES ********************************************** • We kindly ask to be mindful of the following events that have occurred in the past: • Personal bookings only, no 3rd-party bookings for family, friends, co-workers etc. • We won’t allow entry if you mismatch the Airbnb photo ID or anyone not on the guestlist. • Please provide us with your approximate check-in time. • Don’t park on our grass as this will damage our irrigation system. • Don’t damage the aircon by: * setting the temp below 22 degrees. * running the a/c non-stop longer than 24hrs. * keeping windows/doors open while the a/c is running. * running the a/c while the guesthouse is unattended. * Non-compliance led to water freezing, bursting the pipe, and flooding the guesthouse. • Don’t forget to switch off the rangehood (it’s silent & guests often forget, causing damage) • Don’t unplug, change, or alter any of the TV or PS4 cables. • Don’t discard sanitary items in the toilet to prevent blockage and overflow. • Don’t leave items in pockets when using the washing machine to prevent blockage. • Don’t forget to remove the fluff from the dryer to prevent a fire hazard. • Don’t forget to empty the condensate from the dryer to prevent ineffective drying. • Don’t forget to close the windows in case of rain to prevent water damage. • Don’t leave food particles around & keep everything clean to prevent attracting ants. • Don’t let the dogs escape by being too slow to close the gates. • It’s your responsibility to confirm gates are completely shut & the dogs haven’t escaped. ********************************************** GUESTHOUSE MANUAL ********************************************** • Although extensive, is for your convenience to help troubleshoot any issues that may arise. • Find it by logging onto your Airbnb account: • Select trips upcoming. • Under Mackay Harbour select Beachfront Guesthouse. • Scroll to “Where you’re staying” & select “read more” • In the guesthouse manual, you will also find the 3 security codes required to gain access. ********************************************** TO QUALIFY FOR DISCOUNTS ********************************************** • Text BEFORE booking: “All occupants have read the notes & will obey all rules” • Strict adherence to ALL the rules during your stay. • Text must be received BEFORE the booking is confirmed. • There will be no exceptions to the above regulations & the host’s decision is final. • The 5% discount is for the nightly rate & not any extra fees (cleaning, guest service etc) • The 50% discount for the cleaning fee applies if ALL check-out instructions were followed. • All discounts (that you qualify for) will be refunded via Airbnb after departure.
