Cozy cabin by the lake

Looking for rest and relaxation? This cozy little cabin is located in a serene location close to the lake and woods, has a private pier with a boat and provides a stunning view of the lake. Located in the northern parts of Skåne region, it's easily accessible from Denmark and Germany. There's lots of tourist attractions within driving distance, such as Söderåsen, Tykarpsgrottan, Skånes djurpark, Bosjökloster etc. Skåne is also a region known for kayaking, trekking and observing wildlife. The standard is low-key with an emphasis on the breathtaking surroundings. It has all the basic amenities that you need for a comfortable stay such as a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room to make your stay comfortable. There's a also a fireplace for those cozy winter nights, as well as wifi and a Chromecast for all your entertainment needs. A faster fiber-based Internet connection is planned for 2022. The cabin is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, families with children and four-legged friends (we love pets). You will have access to the main cabin, patio and the pier. There is also a small rowing boat available if you want to go out on the lake. If you are more than 4 guests, there is another cabin on the premises that can (usually) be made available to you for a small additional fee. I am usually not available for handing over keys, but I have a good routine in place for solving key handovers. If needed, I live about 30 minutes away and can be in place on rather short notice on weekends and evenings, but since I have a day job I will not be available physically during working hours. Me or my co-host will be able to answer mail, chat and phonecalls (in case of emergency) at pretty much all times. The neighborhood is really nice with the lake 15 meters from the cabin and the woods surrounding it. There's neighbors around, but it's usually very quiet. If you want to leave the cabin during your stay, there are tourist broschures in the cabin with places to go and sights to see. You need a car or a pair of good walking shoes to get to the cabin. The train takes you as far as Perstorp, but from there you have a 7 km walk to the cabin (1.5 hours or so). Driving should take you 5-10 minutes from Perstorp. The best place to park your car is on the lawn right next to the cabin. I sometimes block dates from booking for doing maintenance, but I can be flexible with that if needed. If you have your mind set for renting the cabin a particular few days and the cabin is not available in the calendar, please send me an inquiry anyway and we'll see what can be done. Also, don't worry about the low cleanliness grade, it's common in the area due to the cabin being located in the woods. 100% cleanliness is not possible, but basic cleaning is done by me (or cleaning company) between each stay (dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, laundry and re-stocking candles/firewood and such).
