Beautiful rural retreat in medieval Tuscan village

Our spacious two bedroomed apartment is in the tranquil medieval Tuscan village of Orciatico. In the centre of the village there is a small shop and bar. There is a private garden to the front of the apartment and a pool area to the rear. The pool will be open from mid June to mid September. The apartment has its own driveway and garage behind electric gates and is one of four apartments in the block although only two have been sold. It is newly furnished with new bathroom suites and kitchen. There are two double bedrooms in the apartment with king size beds in each. One has double doors which open on to a balcony. In the lounge, there are two large sofas one of which is also a large king size sofa bed and there is also a single fold away bed available. There is a downstairs toilet with sink and a bathroom upstairs. The kitchen is newly fitted, well equipped and has fridge/freezer, dishwasher and cooker with oven and hob. In the living room there is an open and floating staircase linking the upper and ground floors and we would advise care if bringing young children. (See photos). We also have Wi-Fi installed . The pool is usually closed at the end of September once it is too cold to sustain a good water temperature. There are also outside garden sofas for client use. You will be met by Christine who is English and also a resident of the village. She is available to answer any queries you may have during your stay. The village of Orciatico is located 10 minutes from Lajatico and 20 minutes from Volterra, by car. The Teatro del Silenzio is in Lajatico and can be seen from the village of Orciatico. The area is quiet and rural with beautiful scenery. Orciatico is 40 minutes from San Gimignano. The beach is an hour away and it is 50 minutes by car from Pisa. There is a bus from Orciatico which takes you to Volterra or Lajatico however for independent exploring of the area a car is essential.
