Cosy and spacious historic cottage based in village regularly featured on escape to the country. Property has original features, open fire, beautiful garden, local walks, two village pubs and local store. 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, but sleeps 10 with downstairs sofa bed used in snug area. A mix of old 1600s cottage with exposed beams and historic features and Georgian addition that includes master bedroom and dining room. Lovely garden with two patio areas (one slab one gravel) set in beautiful English country village Beautiful Somerset village, regularly featured on Escape to the Country, two local pubs, a village coffee shop and lovely walks, village green with kids play area. The easiest way to get around the village is on foot. Everywhere is within easy walking distance and the main shop and pub are with yards of the house itself. There is a village hall with playing fields and a play area for children within 5 minutes walking distance. For more rural walks the village church is a few minutes walk away and if you go through the churchyard it takes you out onto the Somerset levels and you can explore from there! For going further afield there is a bus that leaves from opposite the village shop but you will need need to check timetables for when they are available. A little beyond the pub and village shop on the main road through the village there is also a small coffee shop. The area is also very popular with cyclists and there are some beautiful scenic rides around the local area you can explore.
