Whether you have a larger family, meeting up with friends, or you would like some extra living space? Whatever the reason you can now book Poppy & Sunflower Bell Tents in a pitch together. The pitch comes with its own compost toilet outhouse, shower hut and outdoor seating with fire pit bbq. All set in our 2.5 acre woodland in the middle of our Northamptonshire farm. Radmore farm has been in our family since 1937. Currently myself and my husband Ben farm goats, pigs and sheep and my dad is an arable farmer growing wheat, barley and oats. The wood where we invite you to getaway from it all is 2.5 acres right in the middle of the farm and is mainly oak and ash trees. It has no WiFi and is not accessible by car for a real unplugged getaway! Our bell tents, Sunflower and Poppy, are 5 meters diameter to allow you to walk comfortably around inside with windows for a cool breeze on hot days. You will get the use of both our 5metre bell tents, pitched close together for your group to use. Both tents have sofa beds and floor mattresses to be able to sleep 4 each. The pitch has its own compost toilet outhouse, and it’s own lpg heated shower cubicle hut. There will be outdoor furniture for you to use at your pitch and a fire pit with bbq swing arm. This is set in the middle of our 2.5 acre wooded spinney, which you are welcome to walk around. In the middle of the spinney is a wooden shared covered dining area that can be used by any guests. Your car can be parked at our farmhouse, and the spinney is a short walk down a country lane away. Both Sunflower bell tent and Poppy bell tent are included in the pitch. A composting outhouse toilet hut is with your pitch and an lpg heated shower cubicle hut too. Outdoor seating with firepit bbq are included aswell as another shared covered wooded dining area being available for all guests staying to use. The 2.5 acre wood is available for guests to use and a parking space at the farmhouse is provided. Sunflower has a double futon sofa bed and a single chair bed as well as an inflatable floor mattress. Poppy has a double futon and 2 single chair beds. Always available to make your stay as comfortable and as fun as possible. We love to chat about the farm and our food but we also like to leave you to the peace and quiet if that is your thing, we will leave it up to guests how involved they would like us to be. A storage box for wet and muddy things is provided! >>Our natural woodland has brambles, nettles, rabbit holes, hills and other natural hazards so pleased bring suitable footwear and take care when walking. Also please be careful of falling branches if the weather is windy. >>‘Cook it yourself’ breakfast packs can be ordered from Radmore Farm, as well as bbq packs and other produce and cakes from our bakery. >>Please take time to read about how to use the composting loo on your first use, it may be a little different to the plumbing you are used to at home, and yes there is sawdust involved...I’ll leave you to work that out when you visit. >>A torch may be useful to take out with you as there is lots of tree coverage and night can close in quickly! >>Your car will not be able to park directly next to poppy, but an off road space is provided a short walk away. >>There may be times when animals are grazing in the woods, please let us know if this is a problem for you so we can make arrangements to move them before your arrival. >>There is no TV or WiFi so you will have to rely on roaming internet and the entertainment and peace of nature! >>PLEASE BRING BEDDING- I may sometimes be able to provide, please have a chat to me to find out more!
