Tranquil Beach House

Our house is located on Roaring Beach 80 minutes south of Hobart & close to one of Tasmania's most southern towns, Dover. You will love our place because of the tranquil white beaches surrounded by picturesque farmland. Wilderness World Heritage Area, including the Hartz Mountains National Park, Hastings Caves Thermal Springs & the Ida Bay historic railway are at your doorstep & the drive from Hobart will take you through the beautiful Huon Valley. Our beach house is situated a stone throws from the stunning Roaring Beach the only divide being the dirt road and a small expanse of bushland. The house has recently been renovated & the two storey house is perfect for a large group or family. The house has four bedrooms (2 x King Bed rooms, 1 x Queen Bed room & 1 room with 2 king singles), two living areas (one includes a fold out couch) and two bathrooms. The Kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need to cook up the local delicious produce. The living area & large deck on the second floor is bright, spacious and offers beautiful views over Roaring Beach. BBQ facilities are provided. Beach toys and kayak are available for guests use. As a guest you will be able to access all aspects of the property. Jim and Diane will be available to answer any questions during your stay. Our location is an excellent base to allow you to explore southwest Tasmania's Wilderness World Heritage Area, including the Hartz Mountains National Park with its rugged mountain peaks, think rain forest and picturesque lakes. Another popular attraction is the nearby Hastings Caves & Thermal Springs and the Ida Bay historic railway (a 14km journey through bushland and coastal terraine). The drive from Hobart to Roaring Beach will take you through the beautiful Huon Valley whic is one of the best drives in the state. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. You will need a car to get around
