Central heating • Devoran Quay is a level 5 minute stroll away • The village pub serves fine ales and great food • There are many local walks such as along the creek passing by the historic engine house remains of Old Carnon Mine to another beauty spot, 'Point Quay' • Devoran is on the coast to coast cycle route, a 26-mile return pedal. The cycle path takes you along what was the old railway line through scenic tin mining country ending at the sandy surf beach of Portreath. Mountain bikes are available for hire locally or you may wish to bring your own. Devoran is ideally located for exploring South Cornwall and beyond. The village quay is a gentle 5 minute stroll away and you'll find the local pub just above serving fine ales and good food just above. A level walk of around one mile takes you along the creek passing by the historic engine house remains of Old Carnon Mine to another beauty spot, 'Point Quay' where, at high water, you will often see kids jumping off the quay and people enjoying boating activities. If you like cycling, you'll love the coast to coast cycle route, a 26 mile return pedal. Starting at Aurora, this popular cycle path takes you along what was the old railway line through scenic tin mining country ending at the sandy surf beach of Portreath on the Atlantic coast. Mountain bikes are available for hire locally or you may wish to bring your own. There are so many pretty walks to do in and around the village and Cornwall in general and I'd be delighted to share some of my favourite walks with you. If water-sports is your thing, a short drive away you will find kayak, SUP and boat hire and of course there are endless other attractions in Cornwall; Poldark Mine, The Eden Project; The Lost Gardens of Heligan are to name few. Buses run regularly from the village to Truro and Falmouth. It's a short drive to The King Harry Ferry where you can take the car over to the Roseland Peninsular. There is really is too much to list so I will leave a good selection of attraction flyers in the house for your perusal. Vodafone and O2 sims provide excellent phone and data coverage at Aurora. Mobile network '3' has no coverage in the area. WiFi is provided for 2022.
