Large studio with private garden, a dépendance of a historic residence situated in the heart of Valpolicella, the famous landscape of Amarone vines, olive trees and cypresses The dépendance is a big studio, about 90 sqm. (ceiling 6 mt. high), with extra raised sleeping area, illuminated by 4 large windows showing the park on the south side and the valley of the vines on the west. Furniture keep intact the host family’s style and traditions. The dépendance can host up to 4/5 people. The cosy kitchen is equipped with refrigerator and oven. The small bathroom can offer a old style bathtub equipped as shower. The guests enter through the main gate of the property. They will have a reserved parking inside the park. The guests will enjoy a private garden where they can rest or have meals: they will be delighted by the surrounding landscape and the changing light of the day, tasting one of the great wines of the terroir. Pia is the owner. She is an artist who lives and works in the main XV century villa. Guests could set an appointment to visit the ancient cellar (where a wall painting dates it back to 1492), the terrific park and exclusive vines around the villa. The owner’s dog is friendly and well educated. The property lies on a hill landscape, at 350 m.a.s.l., between vines, olive trees and cypresses. It is 2 Km far from Negrar, the main centre of the valley called Valpolicella, a famous wine-growing region of Italy. Negrar is a country town very well equipped with banks, hospital, post office, supermarkets, winehouses and typical restaurants. Negrar is about 14 Km far from Verona, one of most beautiful cities in Italy, with its famous Opera festival in the Roman Arena. In 20 minutes you can reach the beaches and spectacular scenery of the Lake Garda, the Lessinia and Trentino mountains. In less than 2 hours you can reach Venezia, Milano, Padova, Mantova, Vicenza, Ferrara, Bologna and many other sites in terms of art, history and landscape. Getting around is easy also for people who wants to travel by public transport. Negrar is connected to Verona by bus. From Verona you can reach by train or bus all the sites above mentioned in 2 hours aproximately. A big space at the ground floor of the studio is available, on request, to be rented as atelier. It offers large windows with a great view on the landscape, wifi connection and a toilet you can see in the last 4 photos (price to rent it extra 18€/day.
