Huge open plan room downstairs, with TV/DVD and large selection of DVD's, piano and music, board games. Kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, nespresso, plus clothes washing machine in the bathroom. The bedroom is also very spacious with SuperKing sized (6 feet wide) bed. Throughout there is a modern tasteful decor and lots of personal touches to make you feel at home. Guests can enjoy the large garden with its apple and plum trees, roses, terrace and garden seating. Our village has excellent pubs, we are 5 miles from Stratford upon Avon and also on the edge of The Cotswolds. Our aim is to provide everything you need during your stay with lots of thoughtful extras. We leave a delicious continental breakfast to enjoy on your first morning (cereals, milk, butter, jam and freshly baked bread). We take pride in making your stay with us perfect and our reviews say it all. With own front door, guests will have sole use of a large self contained 1 bedroom duplex annexe of a larger home, plus sole use of the upper terrace with outside table and chairs. We encourage you to enjoy the large gardens, riverside walks, and English village life during your stay, but you are very close to Stratford upon Avon and all it has to offer. World famous villages in the northern Cotswolds easily accessible. Parking on the drive for 2 cars. Private but with helpful owners available next door when needed. Helpful owners who take a real pride in the accommodation live next door. We will be ready to assist you in any way we can and answer any questions or provide extra help and information, but also respect your privacy. Peace and quiet is on tap here. Hill House is located just outside Welford on Avon, a very pretty English village with some beautiful lanes, houses, footpaths and river walks. We are close to Stratford-upon-Avon and the North Cotswolds. Our village offers 3 good pubs, we particularly recommend The Bell for dinning. Our Welford Butcher and Deli sells fresh bread, local eggs and vegetables, superb meat and cheeses, pies and cold cuts. Surrounded by beautiful English countryside, Hill House is 10 minutes by car from Stratford upon Avon for shopping and entertainment, including the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Swan Theatre, The Arts House Theatre and Orchestra of the Swan, numerous restaurants, Everyman cinema, bars and cafes, rowing boat hire, river cruises and a racecourse. The northern Cotswolds are 15 minutes drive, enjoy exploring these quaint and famous villages including Chipping Campden, Mickleton, Broadway, Stow on the Wold and so many others. Scenic, historic and fabulous for specialist shopping including fine art and antiques, a pleasant day out can include exploring these villages just 20 minutes away. Public transport is quite limited from Welford on Avon, a car is advised, but we do have an occasional bus service to Stratford upon Avon. Taxis can be arranged, but may be expensive. There is ample parking at Hill House. Warwick Parkway Station (20 mins drive away) has an excellent regular train service to London (1 hour 20 minutes) and trains run every 30 minutes. Honeybourne Station (15 mins drive) offers a train service to Oxford. Get ready to relax - this is a very spacious and peaceful location. The property is fully self contained and will be deep cleaned and aired between bookings. Door handles will be disinfected. The location is isolated but not remote. Footpaths are very quiet, but locals are extremely courteous and observe social distancing. Contactless check in using a key box.
