Located just 35 minutes from Bathurst, 20 minutes to Waldara Wedding Venue, 40 minutes from the Blue Mountains and 7 minutes from Oberon you’ll find working horse property, Burilda Park. Set amongst the rolling hills and bush land of the Oberon meadows, the Burilda cottage is a cosy getaway for those wanting to relax with their families on our horse farm feeding the many horses, or making a weekend out of wedding travel. Private and cosy, our Cottage is perfect place to get away to. The Burilda Cottage is a newly built rustic haven for families or friends to book that cosy getaway in style. The cottage boasts a wood fire, always lovingly stocked for you in winter, as well as a full kitchen, three bathrooms with one being a fully operational disabled bathroom. Guests will have access to the whole farm, and are able to feed the horses, explore the paddocks, hike around the farm and enjoy the tranquility of country living. Guests access the farm through the Burilda Park front gates and make their way up the driveway to the cottage, to the right. Guests have ample parking. As we live on the farm also, we will often be pottering around working or feeding horses and will always be up for a chat if we run into one another. Burilda Park is situated 7 minutes from Oberon and 35 minutes from Bathurst. A Sydney siders retreat or ideal setting to stay if you’ve been to a beautiful Oberon set wedding or you’re looking to get out of bathurst for the night after the car races. There is a bus service in Oberon. We recommend guests bring their own cars to be able to explore the farm and Oberon to its full extent! Our disabled bathroom complete with huge shower- as well as our second bathroom are accessed from the side of the cottage and are exactly the same as the one inside.
