Totally self catering cottage in the Glens of Antrim. Sleeps 4 people, two double bedrooms. The fee for the cottage is, £30 for the first person and £15 for each additional guest. Two double beds in two separate bedrooms, and possibility of additional temporary beds. Accommodation consists of two bedrooms, one shower/toilet space, and spacious kitchen and living area. The cottage also has its own garden. The cottage is let to one group at a time. This fully self contained cottage is located in a space that I can only describe as a slice of heaven. Located in the middle of Northern Ireland's scenic North Antrim coast, the cottage is totally self catering, with private secluded garden. Was once an artists retreat. Also large adjoining garden around my own nearby cottage with parking spaces. Not too far from the Giants Causeway, and centrally located to everything in the Glens and North East Antrim coast. I live in a nearby cottage, where if opportunity arises meals are sometimes shared with the family. There is no TV in the cottage (or my own house), I live in an area where reception problems exist. I see this as a good opportunity to get away from TV etc. Own garden and parking. I try to be informative and helpful but give my guests all the private space they want. Great walks and great music can be heard on specific nights and times of the year. But most of all great nature all around. The best thing any visitor can do is get out driving and walking, beaches, water falls, hills and forests. Also some great music pubs nearby. Public transport is poor. There is one local taxi. Really i recommend bringing the car! If I am not at home when you arrive I will have left the key in the door, let yourself in and feel at home. Be sure and use these directions as the place will be hard to find otherwise. ph(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) if there are any difficulties. Gps (sat nav.) will only get you close but will not bring you to the house. Leaving Cushendall going northward, the cottage is 1 mile out the road in direction of Ballycastle (A2), (past Ornamental Garden Furniture yard - with pink donkey landmark) then large bend in road and then immediately out of the bend you will come to a small row of houses on the left side called Tavanaghan Terrace. The driveway to the last one of these houses and my lane way are the same opening. Go down the lane about 20 yards, over small bridge and take left through a farmyard (54 points to my place) and onto another short rough pot holed lane for approx 10 yards and my house is the black and white cottage. Essentially my place is behind Tavanaghan Terrace. The Airbnb cottage is in my garden. Here is a link to images on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps it is useful to use it. Copy and paste it into (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and have a look. Look at street view to get a feel for where you are going as some people have found the place a bit hard to find.
