Farmhouse in the Condamine Gorge

Beautiful Whole Farmhouse in the Condamine Gorge near Killarney and Queen Mary Falls. Great place for families to be families without TV and WIFI. Lots of swings in trees, creeks, gentle cows in paddocks, outdoor and indoor fireplaces with spectacular views up and down the gorge. Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim under two hours drive from Brisbane. There is also currently no mobile reception (plus for some, negative for others!), but there is a free landline phone. The house has four bedrooms with enough beds to sleep 10 people. There is also a large central space with two couches that can sleep another 2 people, and heaps of space for more camping beds etc if you have them. It is a fantastic place for large family get togethers. The linen and towels are all up there with the beds all made up. There is also an outside undercover firepit with cooking plates and camp ovens, a modern BBQ with wokburner and indoor fires. Firewood is included and stacked on the verandah ready to go. Outside is the magnificent Condamine Gorge, and large flat lawn areas for kids to play soccer and cricket. Pets and horses are welcome. The drive from Brisbane is via Boonah and is simply beautiful the whole way, it sets the tone for a wonderfully scenic getaway. Guests have sole access to the whole house and 40 acre property, which they have entirely to themselves.
