Looney Dunes beautiful detached beach house boasts a grande living space with two bedrooms, master en-suite with kingsize bed and the second being a double/twin with en-suite bathroom & hallway access. As of the 5th March we are still aware of landscaping and building work happening around site. This should not impact upon your stay and such work is due to be completed shortly. The layout includes a stunning open plan kitchen, dining and living space with a log burning stove. There are bi-folding doors leading onto a decking area with BBQ from the living room. Outside our beach house there's off road parking for two cars as well as communal picnic grounds, lakes and a number of leisure facilities. Amenities: Gas central heating Electric oven & Gas Hob Microwave Outdoor seating Fridge Washer/dryer Dishwasher TV with Freeview DVD Player with a small collection of films suitable for adults & some for children WiFi Selection of board games, Toys, children's books, games, colouring pencils etc On-site there is a Pharmacy (essential items can be purchased), Italian Pizzeria & Ristorante and Public House & Restaurant just 5 mins walk from Looney Dunes Beach House. A beauty salon is located here too. There is also a communal heated indoor swimming pool, children’s pool, sauna and steam room. Private access to the Beach is just a 1 mile walk. Chargeable facilities and activities payable on-site, include: the gym swimming lessons archery tennis body zorbing crossbows rifle shooting snorkelling/ sea-scooters cycle hire Lakes on-site, children to be supervised at all times. If our guests require help with anything they can contact us anytime on our Looney Dunes beach House Mobile Numb (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Looney Dunes is a fantastic base for exploring Filey at only 2 miles away or just a little further is Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby & even the North Yorkshire Moors! Approximately 1.1 miles from our beach house turning right out of The Bay Site, then take a left is approximately 20 mins walk to the Jet station & Spar for fuel, bread, eggs, milk, newspapers etc We have tried the Italian on site called Lorenzos, where we enjoyed a meal. It Is child Friendly too. We have also tried their take away pizzas, well worth a try. Just off site there is a Pub called The Royal Oak which is 1.1 miles from our beach house to the Pub, approximately 20 mins walk just near the Jet station & Spar. We have enjoyed visiting Inghams Fish Restaurant and takeaway in Filey for many years and would recommend a visit. We have enough room for 1 car on the driveway and additional parking opposite the property. All fuel, power, Bed Linen and Bathroom towels are included in the rent. A Travel cot & highchair are available upon request. Sorry, no smoking & no pets.
