Our cottage is a self contained annex. Hot water, electricity and underfloor heating are powered by our 16kw solar array and ground source heat pump. The property is super insulated making it warm in the winter and cool in the summer. A mezzanine bedroom looks down on the kitchen/living space. The second bedroom has a triple bunk bed offering flexibility for couples/families. Within easy reach of all beaches and villages, perfect for surfers, walkers, cyclists, families and local wedding guests. Our two acre plot has a stream to relax by or play in! You can have a small fire/bbq here or you have use of your own private garden with a wood fired hot tub. The cottage is rustic, quirky and cosy with a well equipped kitchen, crisp white sheets, fluffy towels and a log burner to enjoy. A basket of wood will be provided with the option of buying more from us if you’d like to. Please note we have a space saving staircase which is not suitable for young children. There is a stair gate at the bottom and a ground floor bedroom. There’s lots of parking next to the cottage, we will be there to greet you and give the key. You will have your own private garden with table/benches and wood fired hot tub. Should you wish to use the hot tub there will be a £20 fee for us to set it up (not applicable to stays of one week or more) this includes wood for the first evening. For any subsequent days you can buy wood from us at £5 per use. We live next door and you will probably see our children (aged 11, 8 and 6) playing outside but we will give you privacy, as well as at the same time always being on hand if you need anything! A beautiful, rural spot on a small lane on the outskirts of the village of Reynoldston. Within five minutes you can walk to Cefn Bryn, common land where you’ll see ponies, cows and sheep roaming freely, climb the hill and you’ll discover spectacular views of the peninsula overlooking the estuary on one side and across to England on the other! A car is highly recommended here as it is a rural area and public transport can be sparse. Saying that, buses do run hourly from Reynoldston into Swansea or to Rhossili/Worms head. There are many accessible places to visit for cyclists, we have a large barn that you can store bikes in should you wish. A great place for surfers, we are a short drive from many beaches (top tips can be acquired from my surfer hubby) again you are welcome to store boards in our barn. Centrally located on Gower we are within walking distance of Fairyhill, should you be going to a wedding there. We are one mile from the King Arthur, two miles from Oldwalls and Ocean view. All beaches are around 10 minutes drive from here. Swansea and Mumbles are both around 25 minutes.
