Bushland Breeze - Self Contained Unit

Our Queenslander split level house is situated in the heart of Gladstone, backs onto bushland and is less than 5 minutes from the shopping mall. The lower half of house is your self-contained unit which has four rooms. The kitchen/diner/lounge takes you through to the master bedroom then to the ensuite which adjoins the 'Beach Room' (2nd bedroom). Here you can sit and view the pool, spa and bushland through the glass doors. Take a plunge in the pool then relax in the hot spa. Bushland Breeze is totally private with its own front and back doors and open veranda out the back, complete with sun loungers. We offer a large driveway, ideal for vehicles with trailers & boats and an undercover space in the carport. The main living area is air-conditioned which can cool the entire unit. The fully equipped kitchen includes fridge/freezer, microwave, free-standing hotplates, toaster and electric kettle. Other amenities include a 4 x burner BBQ with gas hotplate, fire blanket, board games, linen, towels and beach towels, ceiling fans in all living areas and bedroom plus wireless internet. The Beach Room day bed can be converted for the use of a single bed plus a pull-out trundle (floor level) for a 2nd guest. For a 3rd or 4th guest, we can provide comfortable self-inflating camping mattresses linen, quilts & towels. Please note - bookings for two guests includes the master bed only. If you require the use of the single day bed in the Beach Room, we are happy to organise this for a one off charge (not per night) of $20 for the extra linen/cleaning fee. The ensuite is accessible from the master bedroom and Beach Room but both ensuite doors can be locked internally for privacy. Guests are welcome to use the washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes line, all separate from the owners living area above. Tea, coffee, sugar, cereal and milk are provided. When in season, help yourself to the ruby grapefruits fresh from the trees. Please note that there is access to the back of the unit without using the steps. One path is a little steep if mobility is an issue. We are more than happy to assist you with your stay and let you know what is in the area and what's on locally. If you prefer to enjoy your stay completely unassisted we will leave you with the freedom, relaxation and privacy of Bushland Breeze. Neluna Rise is Gladstone's best kept secret, with just six properties on this small inclined cul-de-sac. Taking full advantage of the 'Beach Room', you can access the pool and spa area, open up the wall of glazed doors to feel the ‘bushland breeze’. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the rustling leaves, native birds and occasional kangaroos, right in our own back yard. It’s not unusual to spot kookaburra's perched on the pool fence and neighbouring trees. Our area is like nothing else in Gladstone backing onto hectares of secluded bush-land but being just 3-10 minute drive from most of what Gladstone has to offer and just 20 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Tannum Sands and Boyne Island. Other attractions include fishing, boating, golf, marina/spinnaker, yacht club, restaurants, theatre, cinema, art museum, botanic gardens, swimming pools with splash zone, the award winning East Shores Water Park, Lake Awoonga and Heron Island. Gladstone is 20-25 minutes off the Bruce Hwy and can be accessed from three exits. This short detour from the Highway is a great halfway point between Airlie Beach (6.5hrs drive) and Brisbane (6hrs drive) and only a 3 hour drive from Hervey Bay. Whilst there is a well-stocked Spar, fuel station, bottle-shop, fish and chip shop and hairdresser approximately 7 minutes walk away, Gladstone's attractions and conveniences are all a short drive away. We are husband, wife with three adult children. PLEASE NOTE, WE ARE A STRICTLY NO-SMOKING PROPERTY, INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. We adhere to allergy-safe restrictions and are surrounded by flammable mulch hay.
