Wild cherry B&B is located on the steep side of the narrow valley with spectacular views overlooking the historical gold mining town of Walhalla. Only 500 metre to town center. The town offer's a variety of activities, scenic railway, gold mine tours, historical town tours and ghost tours as well as gold prospecting, hiking, fishing, and photography. Walhalla is a very picturesque town with many original buildings dating back to 1865 and features many stone walls and old mining ruins. A true hidden gem. Guest have access to dining room and lounge room which is furnished with the 1880's look. Our deck area and gardens with spectacular views of the valley, are for our guests use to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Walhalla. We always have time to chat to our guests and inform them of all activities times and locations that would suit their needs. Local knowledge combined with brochure's and maps ensure that the guests have all the requirements for a most enjoyable day. Excellent dining in our local pub. Several coffee shops and gifts shops in the main street. Wild Cherry B&B has no near neighbours which allows our guests to have a total silent peaceful sleep. The Town of Walhalla is quite small and all areas can easily be reached by walking. All parking is free.
