Extra bedroom negotiable on request. Free car parking available on the street. Spacious attic bedroom suitable for single or a couple. Comfortable double bed and antique furniture. All linen, towels, etc provided. Quiet location but near excellent restaurants, shops and public transport. Room is large enough to put extra mattress on the floor for a child. Room has a staircase so unsuitable for infants or toddlers. Access to breakfast making facilities / toaster & kettle and small fridge. We provide basic continental breakfast, tea, coffee, bread, milk. You are welcome to use our main kitchen if you wish. Fully renovated ensuite. You will be provided with key access for the room to come and go as you please. You can have use of a back yard deck, lounge and dining area to share with us. We will provide written information regarding visiting Melbourne, access to transport and the use of a Myki card. Of course we are happy to also explain and discuss how best to enjoy your Melbourne stay. You will be given privacy but we are also very happy to chat and share our living space. Located in a quiet street, yet only minutes walk to public transport, parks and playgrounds, a great selection of cafes, restaurants, pub, a variety of boutique shops and supermarkets. Our neighbourhood is friendly, yet respectful of privacy, safe and well lit at night. We are a 30 minute tram ride (400 metre walk from our home) to Melbourne Uni, RMIT, and the major associated hospitals and a 40 minute ride to the city (or 20 minutes by train located a short 2 km walk from our home). We are a 15 minute drive to Melbourne Airport which makes our place a great overnighter before your flight. Taxi / Uber to the airport is usually between $25 - $30 AUD. Cat on property but your room is excluded from his patrol.
