Oakwood Cottage at The Truffledore

The Truffledore is a boutique truffle farm offering a unique farm stay experience in our self-contained B&B cottages. Meet our animals (Truffledog Cody, our Jersey cows Berta, Bobby and Buttercup and our flock of free range chickens), enjoy a hearty country breakfast and taste our delicious French black winter truffles. During the winter we offer truffle Hunt & Harvest tours and long table lunches. The Oakwood cottage is a private self-contained country style cottage on our boutique truffle farm. It has a living area with TV, electric log fire heater and convertible queen sofa bed, a kitchen, a bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with shower and two verandas with outdoor seating. We live on the property and are generally available most of the time should you need anything during your stay. The Truffledore is located in beautiful North West Tasmania, close to Cradle Mountain, Sheffield and other attractions. We're surrounded by an abundance of amazing produce, food and wine so make sure you taste all the area has to offer! We are located 20 minutes south of Devonport, on the way to Sheffield and Cradle Mountain (1 hour from us). We are about 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Launceston and about 3 and a half hours from Hobart.
