Cottage by the Sea in Snowdonia

54 Tan Y Foel is a spacious 3 bedroom holiday home situated in the picturesque unspoilt seaside village of Borth Y Gest in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. The property is furnished in a contemporary style, it is located just 65m from the harbour wall (with steps leading down to a sandy beach)  where there are stunning views over the Glaslyn estuary. It has easy access to the village bistro, cafe and playground. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen diner, including fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, electric oven, gas hob and microwave.  The comfortable lounge, with large screen TV, leads through to the conservatory with views overlooking the private village green. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom has a further single bed. Bed linen is included in the cost, you will need to bring your own towels. The whole house and rear garden patio area is all yours to enjoy. I live in Norfolk and manage the cottage from here. I have a local team that ensure the cottage is ready for each guest. I am always available via email or telephone. From the corner of the bay, the coastal footpath provides access to the beautiful sandy coves and dog friendly beaches. The world famous Ffestiniog steam railway station at Porthmadog is just 15 min. walk away from the property, passing by the old quay. Portmeirion is tucked away just around the headland for relaxing days strolling through the village and gardens. Porthmadog caters well for the holiday maker, with a variety of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants & museums. The mountains of Snowdonia are only 3 miles away with Mount Snowdon and Beddgelert 7 miles away The castles at Harlech, Criccieth and Caernarfon are all within 30 mins drive. There is off street parking outside the property for two vehicles and further on street parking if required. Bed linen is included in the cost of your stay, you will need to bring your own towels. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the coastal path and perfect for a picnic or BBQ.
