Nestling in the North Ayrshire countryside, with views overlooking the island of Arran. This is a delightfully cosy and comfortable 2 bedroom recent barn conversion which can comfortably sleep 6. It is very bright, airy, and spacious with lots of nooks and crannies to enjoy the impressive views! Our lovely cottage in West Steading Farm is the ideal location for peace and relaxation, and as a base for exploring the surrounding area. Ground floor: Living room with French doors and underfloor heating and woodburning stove. Kitchen, bathroom with w/c and shower, utility room and small study. Upstairs, 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with w/c bath, open plan seating area. Outside: large garden with seating area, communal field, ample parking. We live in the adjoining house and are happy if you want to chap our door for any advice or queries. Woodhead farm is a working farm, so guests must adhere to the country code, especially with regards to dogs. Access to the farm is via a single-track road so please take care on the way up. Our lovely cottage in North Steading Farm is the ideal location for peace and relaxation. Located close to amenities such as Sea Mill Hydro, Waterside, and Seamill House Hotel. Town of West Kilbride, voted the craft town of Scotland, is a short drive away, hosting a good selection of restaurants, pubs, cafes and other amenities. Ideal place to setup to explore the surrounding area with many walks nearby, Portencross castle & harbour, Largs a short drive away (Kelburn Country Park). Ferries to Rothesay, Arran and Millport all close by too. The main source of heating for hot water and underfloor heating is solid fuel. We will have the place toasty for your arrival and will also provide you with enough wood for a typical stay, but should you require extra, additional can be purchased or sourced by the guest themselves.
