This secure, comfortably equipped, modern home is close to the East Vic Park strip boasting numerous restaurants, cafes, pubs, & shops. Tea & Coffee Free (but breakfasts only for guests staying 7 nights or less). This home is the front unit of a duplex. I, the host live directly behind in the B unit, and visit the front house daily. I like to maintain a comfortable tidy property, aimed at well mannered and respectful guests/students. The home has 2 private bedrooms, plus another room with a bunk & single for children or other adults to stay short-term at very reasonable prices (this sleeping area does not have a locking door, but is a room sectioned off the side of living areas/kitchen). Thus you may be sharing bathroom/kitchen/living & laundry with other guests. There is ample verge parking directly opposite the address for those with vehicles, besides which street parking is legal & free (it's a suburban residence). 8 mins walk to Albany Hwy where Bus 930 frequently runs to Perth City (15min trip), or South towards Westfield Carousel. 5 mins walk to Bus stop on Berwick st serving 177 to Perth City & Circle Route. 20 minute walk to Oats Street Train Station. Numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs 20 mins walk. I can also provide reasonable bicycles (w/ helmets & locks) for a simple $50 deposit. The closest supermarket is Aldi (crn Albany Hwy & Hill View tce) 15mins walk. Then Bentley Plaza Mall (w/24hr Spud Shed & Woolies) 20mins walk South, or The Park Centre Mall with Coles, K-Mart and other shops up Albany hwy toward city. I love to meet and socialise with new people. I have traveled significantly myself, and I'm always interested to share stories and viewpoints. If a group is using living areas at times when I am also around the house, I am a very social, pleasant, well mannered person interested in having conversations with people on almost any topic. However if I'm not outside at a job, I can also be busy on my computer at home, and I have various responsibilities which take up my time in the house. If a guest wishes to ask for advice, or needs help with anything, I am often available to chat if I am at home. If I am out, I am more than happy to answer a call and do what I can over the phone, or schedule a time to meet to aid further. If anyone has reason to frequent Curtin Uni, this address is close to the Bentley Campus, with free Curtin Taxi-Buses passing regularly only 3 mins walk (Burlington St). This location is conveniently close to the Airport, and Perth city centre. Saint James is a quiet, peaceful and reasonably safe suburb. It is a 15 minute bus trip to Perth city centre (#177 from Berwick Bus Stop, or #930 up Albany Hwy). Plus it is walking distance to the East Vic Park Strip, with a huge variety of restaurants, shops, and bars.
