Basic guesthouse with comfortable beds. Sleeps 4 with private bathroom. On the grounds of our farmhouse. Situated in a rural area, but close to the city of Utrecht. Perfect location for bicycle lovers. Two bicycles can be used for free. More upon request. Stay green: This is a solar powered guesthouse. Although in a quiet rural street very close to the city of Utrecht. It will take you 15 minutes to bike right into the center of town, or 18 minutes by bus (and a walk to the bus stop). Entry hallway with bunkbed (suitable for two adults 90x200cm). Large room (living area) with kitchen setup and two single beds (90x200cm) which can be tied together for couples. Access to bathroom through living area. Perfect for families and close friends. This can be a concern when occupied with 4 adults. Free wifi available. Simple breakfast ready for the first night upon arrival. Pre-baked bread which you can freshly bake yourself, butter, jam, orange juice, milk, coffee/tea. The guesthouse is all yours during your stay. Enjoy the comfortable indoor heated or airconditioned space, or relax outside on the terrace. The kitchen has a 2 pot cooking facility (stove), there is a fridge and you can use the microwave/oven. There are a lot of delivery options, and McDonalds, Subway, Chinese restaurant, Australian restaurant and Michelin star quality restaurant at Castle Heemstede within one kilometer. The guesthouse has a separate entrance which you can lock for total privacy. We assume our guests to wish for a private stay without our interference. We provide a very basic breakfast for late arrivals, but assume guests will buy all other things they need themselves. We are available for any questions directly at the location, or through the Airbnb message system. Rural area riddled with bunkers and forts of the Waterlinie. They were build for defense purposes before the first world war. The museum is in Fort Vechten, at 3km distance. Castle heemstede is less than one kilometer away. The beach is nearby (500m) at the lake. The restaurant here serves an Australian menu and also has a wavesurf machine and a cableway for waterski. It is very easy to reach the city center of Utrecht from our guesthouse. Free parking on the property and a shed to park bicycles dry. Bus stop is 15min walk. Bus to Utrecht city center take 18 minutes and 2,70 euro per person. This is a rural area, the busses are infrequent at best. Especially weekends there is limited service. The tram runs on a decent schedule, but is a longer (2km) walk through an industrial area. Once checked in you can use our bicycles for free! On private property behind closed gate. A very save place to park bicycles, motorcycles and cars. Automatic gate opens via Webapp on smartphone, tablet or laptop.
