A quiet and modern two bedroom apartment on the second floor of a courtyard development on a historical close in Edinburgh's Old Town. The apartment is only a few meters from the famous Royal Mile and 10-15 minutes walk from city centre attractions and many bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment has secure underground parking, WiFi and heating. LOUNGE/KITCHEN Bright and spacious with large windows overlooking the courtyard. There is a double sofa and two armchairs, plus a dining area for four. There is also a flat screen Smart TV with Freeview channels. Kitchen is well equipped with a clothes washer and drier, fridge/freezer, oven and cooking stove. There is also a microwave, kettle and toaster. All cutlery, pots and pans and crockery is provided. There is tea, coffee and milk. In the cupboards and the fridge you will find basic cooking items like sauces, salt, pepper, olive oil, rice and pasta. BATHROOM Accessed from the hall, with a bath/shower, WC and hand basin. Individual toiletries are provided. BEDROOMS Both rooms have double beds and quality mattresses with clothes storage and full length mirror. One bedroom has large wardrobe where you will find an ironing board and iron. A hairdryer is provided. The whole apartment is yours to enjoy during your stay. You are free to come and go as you please. The apartment is only a few meters from the Royal Mile in the Old Town of Edinburgh, with historic architecture and cobbled streets, restaurants, bars and unique shops creating a vibrant, convenient and beautiful setting for your stay. The apartment itself is just off the Royal Mile and within a few minutes walk are many of Edinburgh's popular tourist attractions, including Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament, St Giles Cathedral, Mary King's Close and the Camera Obscura. Waverley train station is just a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment, along Calton Road. A large number of local bus routes are also within 10 minutes walk. The airport is approx. 30mins away by taxi which costs £25-30 each way. The airport bus (Airlink 100 Express) is the best alternative and takes 25mins - pick up and drop off is on South St David Street outside TK Maxx. Check in from 3pm. Check out by 11am. 1 large bath towel is provided per guest and a hand towel in the bathroom. Please bring your own if you need more. The keys to the apartment are available for self check in.
