Church House - Townsville home with a twist

Welcome to Church House. A recently renovated 1920's Baptist Church for you to call your own. The apartment is at the rear of the Church proper (which now hosts an architectural practice). You have your own private entrance and the thick brick walls that ensure peace and quiet during your stay. Church House is an apartment created in the former church hall of a previous Baptist Church and is over 100 years old. The apartment is entirely your own space. Flooded with natural light - there are two generously sized bedrooms and two gorgeous bathrooms, each with a feature bathtub. The second bedroom is accessed internally, via one flight of stairs and is a loft-style area (please see pictures). Original timber floors throughout the majority of the space, lending warmth to your stay. A large, open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area (with full laundry facilities) is at your disposal. Full kitchen amenities are available along with a Nespresso machine for your much-needed caffeine fix (there are some terrific coffee shops within walking distance if that's more your style). The apartment has free, off-street parking available should you require and is accessed at the rear of an architectural practice that now calls the former church home (you have a private entrance). The apartment is fully airconditioned to keep you cool when required. The apartment is within walking distance of Townsville City and its terrific restaurants, the beautiful strand, and our newly built Country Bank Stadium. Everything else within Townsville is a short Uber or taxi ride away. Public transport is limited. Free off-street parking is available upon request. There is also ample street parking available. The city is a short, easy walk away. Inner City fringe. An easy walk to lots of restaurants/pubs/bars and cafes and out brand new stadium. A short distance from Townsville beachfront - The Strand. 20 minutes by ferry and you can be on gorgeous Magnetic Island. You can get around on foot (or a cheeky scooter), Ubers and cabs are available. Public transport is limited. If you have a car you can access greater Townsville with ease.
