Guest house

The guest house is completely separate from the main house on a half acre block in Karana Downs 28 kms to Brisbane CBD or 12 kms to Ipswich CBD. It is fully self contained, modern, airy, quiet and peaceful. It has a full kitchen, laundry, dining and lounge area and one double bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with safety railings. The house has two split system air conditioners. It has a large private covered verandah on 2 sides overlooking the garden and undercover parking for one car. Full kitchen includes stove top ,oven, microwave, fridge and a variety of cooking utensils, toaster,electric jug etc. Tea, coffee , milk ,bread and breakfast cereal supplied to get you started. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. All linen supplied. Washing machine, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Flat screen TV, selection of DVD's, music and books. Free WiFi. We live in the main house and are happy to interact with guests anytime or leave them alone ....whichever they prefer. We are contactable by phone or in person if required. Local golf club is only 350 metres away and the local shopping village is 600 meters away , both a pleasant walk. If you prefer, the local shopping centre is a 7 minute drive at Karalee. Here you will find supermarkets, chemist, doctors, variety of food shops etc. There is also a pub/hotel/restaurant in the same area . We have 2 beautiful Brisbane River parks nearby. Kookaburra Park is in walking distance with a walking track along the river and the popular Colleges Crossing Recreation Area with Cafe is only 4 minute drive. Best to have your own car to get around. There is limited public transport morning and afternoon that links up with Translink busses at Bellbowrie to go to Brisbane . 28 kms to Brisbane 17 kms to Kenmore 12 kms to Ipswich 6 kms to Warrego Highway.
