Amazing long views, bordered on 2 sides by native forests, 45 mins to Barossa and CBD, Three Hills is a unique property, with privacy and space surrounded by bush, birds and animals. Close to wedding venues Glen Ewin, Inglewood Inn & Al-Ru Farm, it is suitable for families and friends to share. Accommodating up to 13 people, this comfortable 2 story house is fully self contained. We welcome you to enjoy this lovely, quiet, natural setting, with country fresh air, rural views, close to amenities Three Hills is a quiet property on 40 acres, bordered by Mt Crawford Native Forest, and located just below the crest of the hill, allowing for lovely long views to the horizon. Natural setting with native birds, animals and bush, it is a wonderful South Australian bush experience to enjoy. Three Hills feels remote, but is a great location from which to explore Adelaide, it's Hills and Wine regions in South Australia. The house is one of 2 under the same roof, and is completely self contained. This is a great place to relax, wind down and enjoy the company of those with you, reconnect and make special memories together. Three Hills is on an unsealed road, and on a hill, so it's not too busy. About 40 mins to the Barossa and fantastic wines, dining and scenery - we have some great local options within 15 minutes too. You will have sole use of a 2 story house, and pool area, and can enjoy the 40 acres and the dams by walking on the trails. The property is very steep in places and is only suitable for walking. A fairly gentle walk to the knob is definitely worth the view :) We can also offer our guests the use of a mobility scooter to explore, just let us know. The pool area, with BBQ and Weber kettle is available. Guests are also welcome to share the veggie garden and eggs with us. You are welcome to feed chickens - call them with "...chook chook...." and they will come running, they love people! The property is fully self contained, with undercover parking for 3 cars. The owners are located on the property and are available to you 24 hours by phone or text message. We ask that only guests who are staying access the property please. We live on site and will be available to meet you on check in and check out, otherwise you can be as private as you wish to be. We do ask though, that only guests who are staying have access to the property. We are very happy to help you with suggestions or arrangements if you are new to the area. If you want to enjoy the beautiful views at sunset with a glass of wine and food but don't feel like cooking, we can put you in touch with a private chef, or passionate home cook. Inglewood is a lovely area in the North Eastern Adelaide Hills, close to many wedding venues such as Inglewood Inn, Glen Ewin and Alru Farm, and the Tour Down Under route. Bring your bike and enjoy the bike trails across the road in the Mt Crawford forest. You can drive a lovely scenic route to Handorf, or head in the other direction and visit the beautiful Barossa. Or you can stay closer to home and enjoy great meals at the Inglewood Inn, Glen Ewin for breakfast or lunch on the weekends, or a great meal at The Gully Hotel - ask for a booth in the Garden Bar. Horse riding, helicopters, hot air balloons, wining and dining - so many things to do. And best of all, its a lovely place to do nothing but listen to the sounds of nature, looking at a great view and breathing in clean, country air. You will really need to have your own transport to access the property and it's surrounds. Public transport is available 15 minutes away in Golden Grove, where you can park and catch a bus or the O-Bahn into the CBD. Alternatively, we can put you in touch with a Mini bus service, for pre arranged transport to and from the airport, or for day tours, for up to 12 people. The house is on rainwater only, so please enjoy the difference it makes! Please be aware there are often kangaroos and other native animals close to home. Have a safe journey :)
