Charming cottage in Burgundy for 2 persons.

Completely renovated, comfortable (detached) cottage in a very calm hamlet in Burgundy. The charm of the old house, but with a fully equiped new kitchen, a comfortable large bed, a new bathroom and a cosy living room. The hamlet is in walking distance of the Canal du Nivernais, from where you can walk or cycle along the canal. The village Chatillon-en-Bazois is just a few minutes away and offers shops and restaurants. This is the perfect place for a relaxed holiday for 2 in Burgundy! Downstairs you find the living room, the new fully equiped kitchen, the bedroom (with king size bed) and the extra toilet/laundry room. A lock burner is there for cold evenings. Around the house the garden offers nice spots to relax. The garden is fenced, so your dog can play while you relax. The whole house is yours! And the (fenced) garden around also. There are comfortable chairs to sit back and relax. Opposite of the house there is a barn, where you can store your bikes etc. You can park your car on the parking lot behind the barn. We are there to welcome you and to show you the house (contact us 2 hours before arrival). And the rest of your stay you can call if you need anything or when you have questions. We live just 8km away from the house. But if you do not need us, you won't see us. The hamlet is calm and close to the Canal du Nivernais. Shops and restaurants you find in Chatillon-en-Bazois. And if you want to have dinner in a good restaurant: La Grangée in Alluy. But you have to call to make a reservation first. It is very handy to come by car. But by bike or walking you can reach Chatillon-en-Bazois easily. Closest railway station is in Nevers (with direct line to Paris). It is possible to bring a dog, max 2 (extra cost 15 euros per dag per holiday). The environment offers great options for hikes. The garden is fenced. The house has WIFI. The bedlinnen and towels are there already.
