This romantic , detached hideaway is situated on the northern coast of the island. A modernized "old black house" which was fully renovated in 1997 to a great standard. Surrounded by open land on a crofting community with sea views out to the outer Hebrides. One bedroom thatched cottage which is a Peaceful , quite and tranquil place surrounded by countryside and a short walk to the shore. Tv with freesat , dvd player with dvds. Large enclosed garden with ample parking space. This cottage is situated just of the main road , which has regular bus service with a bus every couple of hours. Uig is only 2 miles away which has shops, petrol station, pubs and restaurants. Also the Uig ferry terminal to the outer Hebrides . Portree is 17.1 miles 25 minutes away and Dunvegan is 31 miles 44 minutes. There is a taxi service close by also. We have another thatched cottage (no 8 Totescore, Lawries cottage) 1/4 mile ( 5/10 min walk away) for those travelling with friends/family that are looking to stay close to each other.
