Bed and breakfast "the poet's refuge"

Welcome to the "poet's refuge" in the heart of the Bauges massif. This accommodation is warm and cozy, cool in summer, warm in winter. The decoration is particularly neat. Wood is everywhere here; it goes well with rusty metal and stone. You can enjoy the spa, and a hearty breakfast. Quietly located on the ground floor of a small residence, at an altitude of 800 m. It has a shaded terrace with spa (unavailable in winter). It is therefore accessible on one level. You have a single room equipped with a 160 cm bed and a cupboard to store your travel belongings. The rest of the apartment, except the technical room, is shared with your host, Robert. You have access to the bathroom equipped with toilets, a sink equipped with soap, a container to store your toothbrushes and toothpaste, a hair dryer and a large walk-in shower 140 cm by 100 cm. Access to the kitchen and its utensils is possible for a supplement of 10 euros per day (to be paid on site in cash). You can also taste traditional dishes made from local products (tartiflette, matouille, raclette, etc.) at the price of 20 euros per person excluding drinks. In the living room, a large sofa and a relaxing armchair will welcome you where you can leaf through a few mountain books or other alpine poems in front of the fireplace. The terrace offers a table and four chairs where you can have lunch, have an aperitif or just relax. 30 km from Annecy by the D5 in 35 minutes. 24 km from Chambéry by the D912 and the Col de Plainpalais in 35 minutes. 28 km from Aix les bains by the D911 in 35 minutes. 78 km from Grenoble by the A 41 then the D912 and the Col de Plainpalais in 1:05 A large car park is available in front of the residence. In the Bauges massif, the landscapes are typical of the mountain pastures where farm animals graze peacefully, playing with their pretty bells a music that we call the bells. Here, you can hike at will, summer and winter, it is a walker's paradise. On foot, by bike, motorbike, paraglider, ski or snowshoe, there is no limit. Your host, Robert, poet and wanderer of the peaks, is passionate about the mountains. For your greatest pleasure, he will be a guide and will take you according to the seasons on the trails, on foot, by bike, on skis or on snowshoes to meet the local splendours (fauna, flora, architecture, local products, etc.) but also some places that he jealously keeps secret and that he reserves for a few rare initiates ... Will you be part of it ??? Do not worry, on the rhythm of these walks, our poet has passed the age of sports performances, he is now more of the easygoing and contemplative type. In winter, the Bauges are the kingdom of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ski touring. At 6 km (10 minutes) is the departure point of the largest resort in France, the Grand-Revard. For downhill skiing enthusiasts, 12 km (20 minutes) away, the family resort of Margériaz will also welcome you with its many slopes. The basic price is that of the night in a private room whirlpool and the breakfast. In addition, Robert offers you a whole range of suggestions that will enhance your stay. A tasty mountain dinner, cold or hot drinks, excursions and other alpine hikes, etc ...
