Sole bungalow located on a hilltop in the Misty Ranges, overlooking the valley below and surrounding mountain ranges.The Misty Ranges of Watawala are a range of hills and mountains which surround the town of Watawala. ‘Watawala Lassana’ is the only bungalow on the hilltop and offers ample privacy and seclusion. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life, it is a spot of heaven in a lush green eco system. Guests can access the bungalow, except the kitchen. Watawala Lassana translates from Sinhala to mean ‘the beauty of Watawala’. A world away from busy city life, it is a tranquil space to relax and unwind. The bungalow is on a hilltop, nestled among the “Misty Ranges” of Watawala, showcasing its scenic beauty and neighbouring suburbs. It is the sole bungalow on the hilltop, offering a truly private and peaceful holiday. Our guests enjoy uninterrupted views of the surrounding lush green landscape, from numerous viewing decks. Located approximately 1200 m above sea level, we are high up in the hill country of beautiful Sri Lanka, enjoying a very cool and pleasant climate. The bungalow can accommodate up to 15 guests. Our friendly service staff are available on call, to cater to your needs, and ensure a smooth and memorable holiday. Watawala stands at a distance of 115km from Colombo via Ginigathhena. The drive from Colombo to Watawala takes approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours. Public transport options are also available (bus or train).Watawala is a quiet village, located within the Central Province of Sri Lanka. The bungalow is situated away from the main roadway (Hatton Road), providing a very peaceful and private getaway. Fully furnished and equipped eight bedroom holiday bungalow. Service staff and in-house chef are available on call. The bungalow is fully furnished and well equipped, our friendly manager is available to attend to your needs and an in house chef is available to prepare meals, freshly made to order. There is ample parking available on the hilltop. Watawala Lassana has been described as a well-kept secret garden, offering a taste of paradise.
