Galston Park is a private equestrian farm situated just 45 mins north of Sydney’s CBD. This is not just private luxury retreat style accommodation on a beautiful horse property, it’s an Air bnb booking where you are wholeheartedly assimilated into the majestic world of horses. Your stay at Galston Park is a truly unique experience where we open our gates to the public to be immersed in working, living, connecting and riding horses. What to expect ..... The nightly fee is for up to 2 people and includes the following below *Luxury private accommodation. *2 x one on one confidence and bonding horse communication work shop. *2 x one on one private riding lesson - please refer to the “during your stay” for further information on what your private riding lesson will look like. Equine therapy : psychology and therapy using a horse and guided by bella is also a service provided for an extra fee per session. Please send a note with your booking to me in relation to this service. The Accommodation - “The Greenroom” Fully self contained 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, lounge/dining/kitchen, internal laundry, private deck with BBQ, fully secure fenced yard with own front gates seperate to the rest of the entire farm. Luxury linen/towels Beautiful king size cloud bed Fully air conditioned WiFi Netflix Beautifully furnished Beautiful feel to the accommodation and property. Quiet and peaceful Sun filled deck with BBQ and out door dining set. For guests staying longer than 3 days the accommodation will be cleaned every 3 days and all linens changed. The accommodation has a full kitchen and cooking supplies, basic cooking items are provided. Please also advise of your milk and bread preference. Fresh farm eggs are also provided. Guests with their own horse are welcome to bring their own horse - please refer to the “during your stay” section for more details. Please note : you will need your own transportation. The entire yard of your accommodation and the cottage. The stables, paddocks, arena , round yard, wash bays, saddling tie ups (when you are having your lessons and learning about the horses) Please note for safety reasons, these parts of the property are limited to use by guests only when with the owner and the duration of your lesson and horse experience. Please do not wonder down to the horses at your own leisure on your own unless you have your own horse on full board on the property. Thank you. Horse Riding Lessons At Sydney Horse Riding Retreat we cater to all rider levels from total beginners to experienced/advance riders. Private lessons allow for one on one tuition improving confidence, building trust and connection with the horse. Each private lesson covers the basics of : getting on and off correctly, correct seat and position in the saddle, walking, stopping and steering. For more confident and advance riders your ridding skill level will be assessed and the lesson plan will be adjusted to build on your current skills as a rider. All of our horses are well trained and very patient with beginners. They all have their own unique personalities just like you! and we will match you with the perfect equine partner to get the very most out of your experience. None of our horses are dull trail ridding horses, we have a range of placid but attentive school horses for the total beginners to advance school masters having completed at high level equestrian events such as dressage, show jumping and eventing. After lessons clients/guests can choose to spend as much or as little time engaging in the care of the horses such as washing, feeding , rugging, stabling, cleaning gear ect. Some guests like to arrive, unpack and relax in their private accommodation, have a lesson then retreat back to their cottage and relax and soak up the serenity on the deck with a glass of wine and a cheese board, while others like to spend time with the horses and myself after their lessons helping give the horses a bubble bath, making the feeds, clean the stables, polish the gear and finding out all about how a horse property runs. But that’s totally up to each individual guest Guests with their own horses are absolutely welcome to bring their own equine companion and have lessons on their own horses for an extra fee of $100 lodging per night - full board for your horse includes a fresh made stable with shavings, a day yard and an automatic waterer, a 1 acre grassy paddock with hard wood post and rail fences and equine mesh for added safety, 2 feeds a day of chaff, pellets and grain- cool or hot (feed and supplements can be pre ordered in if your horse is on any special dietary requirements but we stock most here), rugs on and off morning and night, stable and paddocks cleaned daily and full access to all the facilities. And 1 private one on one lesson a day in the discipline of your choice - dressage , show jumping ,eventing, liberty, sporting, mustering. For an extra fee if your really wanting to work on your riding you can have a second lesson each day after your private lesson on your own horse on one of our school masters to get in as much coaching and riding in your stay as possible. EQUINE THERAPY RETREAT : this involves your stay in the accommodation with equine therapy each day, equine therapy sessions are between 2 and 3 hour sessions, the sessions help the client work through emotional blocks and trauma. This is available at an extra cost, riding can also be added to this retreat. All guests must sign a client wavier form before riding or interacting with the horses. The area has a great country vibe and is packed with wonderful activities outside of just horse riding on the property. Galaton village shops are just a 2 min drive from the property - Aldi, IGA , liquid land, pharmacy, butcher, post office , bakery, Galaton deli, salt and sugar restaurant very popular and great food. Galston pizza shop is an absolute MUST for dinner during your stay : THE BEST PIZZAS !! Very cycling friendly and very pretty area so if you cycle bring your bike. The price is listed for 2 people which is all inclusive. If you are a booking of 3 people and all 3 guests would like to ride the price will need to be increased due to 3 riders. This extra riding fee can be paid for on the day of riding.
