Although the The Bake house is set in its own private garden with a barbecue area and stunning views of the Sancy mountains, it is on the same property as the La Belle Ame Chambre et table d'Hotes. The a property is set in 4 acres and surrouned by beautiful gardens with different seating areas and terraces perfectly positioned to admired the views. Although there may be other guests staying in the other little chatlets, you rarely see them. The owners home is on the same property but completely separate with its own garden. Most areas are accessible to guests. La Belle Ame is at the end of a country lane where one can take beautiful walks or bike rides. There are 3 Bikes are available for guests free of charge. From our friendly welcome and warm hospitality to our elegantly furnished accommodation and delicious dinning experience, we aim to make our guests feel that this is "their home away from home". Welcoming guests since 2016 we pride ourselves on giving our guests an unforgettable experience. Finally settling in Auvergne and renovating our beautiful property after 20 years of living in different countries in Africa. Travel and cookery is our passion. Cooking from the heart, and serving food to our guests, taking inspiration form the culinary flavours experienced on our many travels and from the lovely fresh local produce. With local artisans there are an array of activities to do, from tea tasting ceremonies to wood turning and Yang Sheng lessons. The Buddhist temple at La Bost and Choco Marcel are a recommended visit to all guests. A lovely walk to the Cascade from Saint Priest de Champs is well worth while. The promise of a wonderful adventure. A car is necessary as there is no public transport. Wine tasting can be arranged (not on short notice), and we offer breakfast and table d'hote. If breakfast is NOT included in your rate, breakfast can be ordered 24 hours in advance and is at an extra cost. Dinner must be ordered 24 hours in advance and is at an extra cost. Dinner is not available on Wednesday and Sunday.. Please request details.
