Single room at the rear of the house - away from other bedrooms. There is a large yard and off street parking is available. The shower facilities are shared however the room has a private toilet in the attached garage. The room has a king single bed and I also have a separate foam mattress and portacot available for those traveling with kids. The room has a large window and lockable door for privacy. We are minutes from 4 beautiful beaches (Avoca Beach, Copacabana, Macmasters and Terrigal) The room has a large desk and a desk chair. In the cupboard there is a fan and a lamp. The room has a small waste basket, a linen basket, a tall boy and a large cupboard with hanging space and shelves. The bed is a king single and comes with all linen and pillows. Extra blankets are available in cupboard. The room is at the back of the house and looks over the patio area and backyard. It has a lockable sliding door. Guests access the house via the back sliding door into the shared living area and are able to leave and arrive at anytime without disturbing the other household members. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. A nature reserve, Kincumba Mountain, is located within the suburb and is often used by the community for various functions, including picnicking, bush-walking, orienteering, parties, and carnivals. A large open flat rock area at the highest plateau of Kincumba Mountain commands panoramic views of the region. Kincumber has a high school, primary school, shopping centre, Postal Office, hair dresser, café, skate park, bike track, oval, library, an amazing hotel and a number of fast food outlets. Another impressive attraction in the area is the 1189ha Bouddi National Park. Part of the Sydney Geological Basin it offers fishing, surfing, sunbathing, swimming, excellent bushwalks, panoramic lookouts, and tranquil, secluded bays and beaches. The area is backed by wet sclerophyll forest, grasslands, swamps, heathlands and densely-canopied rainforests. The park is home to gliders, possums, echidnae, bandicoots, bush rats, marsupial mice, owls, scrub turkeys, lyrebirds, bowerbirds, white-breasted sea eagles and a host of other fauna. The first two churches on The Central Coast were built at Kincumber. St Paul's Anglican Church was erected between 1841 and 1847 on three acres of the village reserve allotted to the Church of England. In this period churches were funded by public subscription which the government matched dollar for dollar. In the porchway is the gravestone of James Dunlop, the superintendent of the government observatory at Parramatta who discovered a comet in 1833. His grave is in the cemetery, along with those of other white pioneers. This small but genuinely charming church with its ivy-clad walls is located by the roundabout where Avoca Drive and Empire Bay Drive meet. Also on the grounds is the old Kincumber Orphanage which operated between 1887 and 1976. It is now St Joseph's Conference Centre.
