Relax and enjoy your stay in this spacious charming Chiltern village flat. Tucked away in a cul-de-sac off the High Street an Oase of piece yet pubs, restaurants, shops, the train station, the Roald Dahl Museum, all in walking distance. Attending a wedding at the Missenden Abbey? Walk home safely at any time, day or night. Visiting London? The train takes you directly to Central London, Marylebone within 35-45 min. Looking for beautiful nature? Many scenic walks start from right here. The flat is on the 1st and 2nd floor. You enter the spacious open living/kitchen area with a big couch and a big TV, a dining/working table and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a spacious shower and a washing machine. The bedroom with its comfy king size bed and wardrobes is on the 2nd floor. From there you access the beautiful covered terrace, the ideal place for a wake-up coffee in the morning or a relaxing wine in the evening. Limited parking spaces available in direct proximity, some driving skills are needed to maneuver safely. More parking options within walking distance in the village. The train station is a 4 min walk away, directs trains to Central London Marylebone within 35-45min depart every 30 min. I won't be available in person, but there are helpers close by if needed. Great Missenden is a charming historic village, the long-term home of the well-known author Roal Dahl. The Missenden Abbey, a former Arrouasian monastery, founded in 1133, is a popular venue for weddings, fairs and is a great place for a lovely afternoon tea. As the cultural center of the area, Missenden's High Street has a great selection of pubs, restaurants, little shops, hairdressers and more. The local Co-Op supermarket provides everything needed. Various well marked footpaths start in Great Missenden and offer fantastic hiking options with beautiful views. Limited parking in direct proximity, requiring some driving skills. More parking options are available within walking distance in the village. Well connected public transport, 4 min walk to the train station with direct lines to Central London within 35-45 min, departing every 30min. Several Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes, shops in short walking distance, the Roald Dahl Museum is at the doorstep.
