Our newly renovated one bedroom apartment is spacious, well equipped and located close (2 min drive, 10 minute walk on bush track) to the lovely Kingston Beach, where you will find some great cafes and restaurants. 15 min drive to Hobart CBD, we have off street parking and you will have private access to your apartment. We have comfortable bedding, heating and all the essentials in the kitchenette to make your stay easy and enjoyable. We also have a large deck with amazing views and sun. This space has been thoroughly planned out before being fully renovated to create a very user friendly, private, comfortable and well equipped accommodation space that meets all guest needs. This house has been renovated so that one end of the house (Northern end) is lived in by residents. The Southern half of the house (the AirBnb apartment) has been renovated so that it is now independent with private access through garage. Entry is easy, with a keysafe located on the wall right next to the front door of the apartment. The large deck that spans between the spaces is shared by residents and guests, with incredible views looking out over Kingston Beach and up the Derwent River. Perfect spot for a BBQ, guests are welcome to use the Weber BBQ. Always more than happy to give local advice and recommendations. Happy to chat, or send us a message any time and we'll do our best to respond asap. This is a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. The location of this accommodation truly is remarkable. This lovely third generation family home is perched on a hill side towering above the cliffs at the southern end of Kingston Beach. Guests will have private access to the Boronia Beach walking track...a 3 minute stroll along this track (past the resident pademelons) takes you to the beautiful and secluded Boronia Beach - if you can bear the cold, it's a lovely spot for a snorkel, with a small reef 20m offshore. Metro bus stop within 1km easy walk. Access to Uber and taxis. Free on street parking. Also free parking in garage (under house) for one vehicle. The driveway on which guests access the garage (for guest use) is shared with one neighbour, so consideration of the shared use is much appreciated. It’s our pleasure to include a basic breakfast pack for the duration of your stay; we include a loaf of sourdough bread, some butter, honey, milk and tea.
