Beautiful double ensuite in City centre
A warm welcome from Sophie and Ramin! Our beautiful Victorian house is in the heart of the city, 3 minutes from the High Street and Cathedral. Our newly refurbished double room offers crisp bed linen, an ultra deep luxurious mattress, plus a spotless ensuite shower. We are surrounded by cafes, so please note we do not offer breakfast. PLEASE NOTE CHECK IN TIMES HAVE TO BE MADE BY ARRANGEMENT, BETWEEN 5PM AND 9PM. Our double guest room has been completely refurbished in a traditional style with soft colours, situated at the back of the house to create a calming and peaceful space for our guests. We are letting the double room with en suite shower room on the first floor, with access through the front door. Check in time: from 5.00 pm onwards. Please note that your check in time will have to be made by arrangement as my work schedule varies. Check out time: We ask guests to vacate the room by 11.00 am. We aim to do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable and are always happy to offer help and advice. Please note that your check in time will have to be made by arrangement. We will be available for the first part of every morning and from early evening onwards but may be out at different times throughout the day. If you prefer complete quiet and privacy that is absolutely fine. Parchment St is within the ancient city walls and is a stone's throw from Winchester's main attractions of the High Street, Cathedral and College. We also have some of the most individual shops in the city and a highly rated cafe and exceptional Japanese restaurant in the same street. We are less than 10 minutes walk from the train station and the bus station is 6 minutes walk in the lower High Street. Taxis are also available in the lower High Street. Please see Guest Access for information on arranging checking in times. There are several city centre car parks nearby and we are happy to advise. We also have a cat, Marble, who is very much part of the family. In the room there are French windows opening onto a balcony and flat roof. If guests wish to open the French windows we ask that they DO NOT go past the balcony onto the flat roof - there is no safety rail and our insurance does not cover guests who go onto it. We ask guests to remove their shoes while in the room to protect our beautiful carpet! We also ask guests not to eat take away meals in the room. Small snacks are fine but a whole meal makes the room smell and can cause staining.
